Furniture and electronics out from under the drip; a bucket under the leak; towels around the bucket. You are buying time, not fixing anything, and that is the correct goal right now.

If the ceiling is bulging, stay out from under it
A bulge is a pocket of water the drywall is holding, and it can let go all at once rather than dripping. Move everyone out of that room, keep children and pets away, and shut the door. If a light or a fan sits near the water, cut power to that room at the breaker — only if you can reach the panel without standing in water. Draining a bulge is a real technique and it is not a homeowner job: the load above it is unknown and the wiring is in the same cavity. Tell us it is bulging when you call, because it changes what we bring.
